Josh LeBlanc

I hold story to an incredibly high regard. A Dallas native, I have been performing for most of his life, and have recently graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Theatre. I also work as a director and a playwright, creating theatre in any way I can. I hope to follow where opportunity takes me, working with amazing people and telling amazing stories. SMU credits include Spring Awakening, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Den of Thieves, Snapshot, and we, the invisibles.

Cathy’s Ark – SMU, New Visions/New Voices Play Festival 2021

Set in Tyler, TX. After her father lands in prison, 16-year-old Sadie moves in with her Bible-thumping grandparents, Maggie and Roy. Their pastor, Dr. McKinsey, convinced Maggie and Roy that a second Biblical flood was imminent. Now that the prophesized date has passed, they are forced to sell their extravagant purchases. When Sadie learns of this, she becomes determined to leave town and find her long-lost mother, Cathy. However, as she searches for Cathy, she becomes privy to Dr. McKinsey’s new plan: to create an army of zealots that will force a new era of righteousness across the world.
