Joshelyn Hawkins

Joshelyn Hawkins was born in South Carolina, educated at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, and went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts Degree at SMU where she received training in acting, Shakespeare, dialects, Soul Work and Voice for the Stage, and in her second year of training, she starred in the Mainstage production of ‘We the Invisibles’ as Naffisatou Diallo. When she isn’t acting, she enjoys documentaries, modeling, painting, traveling with family, or collaborative projects with other artists. Joshelyn is hungry, driven, and forever inspired by her craft. She looks forward to bringing not only her acting but her curiosity and creative spirit to the work.
