Lauren Floyd
My name is Lauren Floyd, and I’m a Southern Methodist University graduate with a BFA in theatre (acting specialization). Currently, I’m a Dallas-based actor in both theatre and film. I love collaborating, trying new things, getting messy, diving deeply into what makes a character tick, but most importantly, I love people. I’m passionate about projects that take risks and give themselves the permission to examine what it means to be human through unconventional lenses. Some of my credits include: Hilde in The Lady from the Sea (at Undermain Theater); Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank; Ophelia and Gertrude in Hamlet; Phoebe in As You Like It; Sasha Berringer in SMU’s 2018 feature film The Book of Job; and Marlow Sharpe in The Other Felix (at Echo Theater).
